ahhh, dunno how to explain this. Just experimenting with a variety of styles. This was...well..done in red pen. And I was experimenting with an inkpad and different types of shading.

and yes, yes the boy on the right has a saucepan with a sailingboat ontop of it for a hat.

they look very nice, don't get me wrong, but, well, very much alive.
i love the background on the second one, the stripes. so cool! wish i had the patience to do something like that...actually, maybe i do. when i get back home, i'll send you what i did on Paint when i was bored and the internet wasn't working..."

oh yes, that's the name for them...THEY'RE ZOMMBIIIESSS.
but not the gross kind.

Daily Literature Deviations is a group that is dedicated to bringing literature to the forefront of the deviantArt community. We attempt to accomplish this by daily featuring Literature artists from around the community that deserve the recognition, but are not getting it.
Each day we will feature 5 deviations from the Literature categories in a News Article. In order to support the artists that we feature, we ask that you the news article as well as check out the individual pieces. We understand that each day you may not be able to check out each and every one of the pieces, everyone has their own things going on. We just ask that you make an attempt to help support the growing Literature community.

As of September 2009 =ImaginaryRosse joined the project and will be helping us out with the weekly choices. While things have changed over time, the essence of the newsletter is still the same.
